Weekly Intention #10: Hydrate

Drink lots of water. It’s so simple right? Did you know that 75% of Americans are dehydrated? We often get so busy and forget to drink throughout the day. We may be showing signs and symptoms and not even know it! Dry skin, sullen eyes, fatigue, hunger and lack of focus may all be signs of dehydration. It’s really important to stay hydrated throughout the day and not let your self get to the point of feeling these symptoms, which indicates that you may already be way past the point of dehydration.

One of the easiest ways to combat dehydration is to carry a water bottle. Avoid plastic and other bottles that may have Bisphenol-A (BPA) liners and choose either glass or stainless steel. Klean Kanteen is a great reliable and safe water bottle to carry with you at all times-sip in the car, meetings, in between emails. Little sips add up to a lot of hydration!

Tired of the same old water? Have fun with it and add some healthy ingredients. Cut up orange slices and basil and put them in a pretty jug. Grab a mason jar and add slices of lemon and mint. Or include strawberries and ginger. Not only do they look beautiful, they also add the perfect hint of flavor and some added nutrients.

Cheers to you and your hydrated glowing self!
