Along with providing a healthier alternative to traditional chocolates, we are also committed to following sustainable business practices whenever possible.
We love animals, therefore do not use any animal ingredients. We donate 5% of our sales to our favorite animal organizations (Mercy for Animals, The Gentle Barn, Noah’s Ark of Locust Grove, GA and The Humane Society of the United States). We also donate any left over chocolates that have not been sold to these organizations to be used in auctions, which helps to raise money for animals in need.
We also love trees; therefore, we use packaging that is FSC (Forrest Stewardship Council) certified, which means that the wood used for our packaging was harvested from sustainably-managed forests. Our bags of munch are made with recyclable material.
Our ingredients are grown without the use of conventional pesticides and artificial fertilizers, free from contamination by human or industrial waste and processed without ionizing radiation or food additives.
There are no flavorings, additives, processed sugars or sugar alcohols used in our confections. The chocolate we use does not contain added oils or soy lecithin.
Our truffles are made with Theo Chocolate, which is Fair for Life, assuring fair market prices to cacao farmers. Our munch is made with Kallari Chocolate, a community-owned co-op in Ecuador.
We try to stay true to our values by using minimal packaging. We will wrap your box of truffles or munch bags in recyclable kraft paper to protect the packaging. To protect the chocolate while in transit, we fill the extra space in the box with either kraft paper or vegetable-based fillers that can be dissolved or used again. Since you will receive a receipt via email we do not automatically send a paper receipt. Please let us know if you need a paper receipt included with your package.
